    • MEDIA MINISTRY

    The Media Ministry co-ordinates the transmission of the Church’s ’Pentecost Hour’ programme on about 65 radio and eight television stations including Citi TV and Joy TV. This is in line with the Church’s mission to win the lost for Christ and to establish responsible and self-sustaining churches filled with committed, spirit-filled Christians of character. The Ministry also oversees the digital media platforms of the Church.

    • OUR ACTIVITIES

    Acknowledges that, it’s every effort is to bring together divided members of Christ’s body in grace, and this aim must be the united effort of the worldwide church, i.e. of all who acknowledge the name of Christ. To this effect, we endeavour,

    1. To practice, preach, teach and propagate the Christian faith and spread the gospel to the community of believers and others.
    2. To establish, develop and maintain congregations for the spiritual welfare of members of the church community.
    3. To engage and carry out educational and other charitable activities and programs that finds expression from biblical beliefs and doctrines and tenets of the Christian faith.
    • Family Unity
      • We value godly family life where parents live as examples and cultivate an environment in which the spiritual, emotional and social growth of their children is fully accomplished. Deuteronomy 6:7, Proverbs 22:6, 2 Timothy 3:15.
      • We value marital fidelity between a man and a woman, the husband and the wife respectively, depending on each other to provide spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Proverbs 5:15-19, 1 Corinthians 7:3-5, Galatians 5:19-20, Hebrews 13:4. We also value purposeful singleness where the uniqueness of being single (unmarried) may be used to bless the church. Matthew 19:12c, 1 Corinthians 7:32-34.
    • Church Growth
      • We value and honour the church as an integrated part of the body of Christ. Our desire shall be to seek its good, increase, and prosperity. Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 3:9-11, 5:25-27, 1Timothy 3:5
      • We value and honour the individual members of the church and shall seek to treat one another with respect, courtesy, and love, irrespective of gender, social, and physical status. We shall seek to help members to grow in the Love, Truth, Faith, Grace and affirm them to fully realize their God given potentials. John 13:35, Romans 12: 9-10, Galatians 6:10, 1Thessalonians 3:12, Colossians 3:12.
      • We value the unity in the Body of Christ. We agree with the scriptures that all who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour belong to one body of Christ. We shall seek to maintain the unity with all such believers. Psalm 133:1, Romans 12:5, Ephesians 4:3-6, 13
      • We value Christ likeness in every man and woman. We want to be like the Lord Jesus in all conduct. We want to minister by serving people the way Jesus did with compassion, under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We shall convey the love, mercy and power of God through the ministry of the church. Luke 14:16-20, John 20:21, Ephesians 5:2, Colossians 3:12 To Train ministers with specific calling like Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Ephesians4:11 Disciples and Intercessors by conducting Specialized Schools.
    • Community Service
      • We value the mercy of God and therefore we shall always recognize in humility that all the goodness we receive from God is a result of His mercies, even those blessings we may regard as rights because of our relationship with Him as children. We shall therefore seek to extend mercy to others in our community and also to all who come under the ministry of the church. Psalm 52:8, Lamentation 3:22-23, Colossians 3:12, James 5:11
    • We want to honour God and bring glory to His name by the way we conduct ourselves in all our social interactions. We shall not seek to bring reproach to the name of our Lord. 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, Philippians 1:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
      • We value giving and therefore we shall always give ourselves first to the cause of the kingdom of God, and we shall encourage members of the church to willingly and cheerfully give of their blessings. We recognize that this ability comes from God Almighty out of whom all blessings flow. 1 Chronicles 29:12-14, Luke 6:38, 2 Corinthians 8:1, 2, 5, 7, 9:6-8.
      • We value personal and corporate integrity and therefore we shall deal and conduct our affairs truthfully and honestly such that the gospel of Jesus Christ shall not suffer any reproach because of our conduct. 2 Corinthians 13:8, Ephesians 4:15, 5:9, 6:14, James 5:12. We demonstrate gentleness, compassion, patience, kindness and humility when dealing with the larger community we are part of. Colossians 3: 12-14, 1 Corinthians 16:14, Ephesians 5:1-2
    • Leadership and Equipping
      • We value the servant leadership. Our leaders shall serve the members of the church as Christ did selflessly and not for profit or self-glorification. Matthew 10:40-42, John 13:13-15, Acts 20:18-19.
      • We believe in fivefold Ministry and we have Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers who lead in humility. They have shown themselves approved over time through recognizable fruits, not being new converts. 1 Timothy 3:2-6,10, 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, Matthew 7:15-20; Galatians 5:22
      • We want to build churches, prayer centres and multipurpose halls. With our spiritual gifts as the Lord gives opportunity for the advancement of the kingdom of God and the spiritual growth of the members. Romans 13:3-8; 1 Corinthians 3:6-9, 12:7, Ephesians 4:11-12
      • We want to develop one another through interpersonal ministry and service that will enhance the spiritual and social enrichment of individual members. Colossians 3:16, John 4:36, 13:13-15,17, Galatians 6:9-10; Ephesians 4:29; Hebrews 13:16
      • We desire to teach and learn the word of God in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit for edification, refreshing, encouragement and comfort. Isaiah 2:3; Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 15:4; 1Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 2:2
      • We desire to be active in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to every soul through direct involvement and support of missionary activities and evangelism. Isaiah 52:7, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 17:30-31, Romans 12:13-15
      • Guide and train others in the church for ministry through recruiting, teaching, and hands-on training so that the Kingdom of God may be expanded, and the church may be unified, attaining a full, and mature of faith in Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:10-20, Ephesians 4:11-13, Mark 3:14.
    • GENERAL COUNCIL

    The General Council is made up of all Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist’s and ordained Pastors of the Church, Area Executive Committee members, National Heads, National Deacons, National Secretaries, Trustees, Chairmen of Boards and Committees, and Ministry Directors, National Executive Committee Members of Ministries/National Coordinating Committee, Area Women’s Ministry Leaders in Ghana. Specialists and Retired Ministers of Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod.

     The General Council is the highest policy making body of The Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod  and the final appellate body in all disciplinary matters affecting members of the General Council for which purpose the Council may appoint an appellate Committee.

    It is responsible for electing the Chairman, the General Secretary, the International Missions Director and the members of the Executive Council.

    Where necessary, it has the duty of impeaching members the General Council accused of misconduct, should the Executive Council fail to do so. It again approves reports submitted by the various organs of the Synod.

    General Council Meetings

    General Council Meetings are held at least once every two (2) years and the representations are as follows:

    • India Representation:
    • All Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Area Heads and fifty percent (50%) of ordained Pastors, Trustees, Chairmen of Boards and Committees, Ministry Directors, three (3) Elders’ Representatives made up of the Area Deacon and two (2) others on the Area Executive Committee, all Pastors on secondment to the Headquarters, Pentecost University College, Chaplains and Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod Travelling Secretaries, National Executive Committee Members of Ministries, National Coordinating Committee and Area Women’s Ministry.
    • The names of all accredited ordained Pastors are forwarded in writing by the Area Heads to the Chairman of The Synod at least Forty (30) days before the due date for the General Council Meeting
    • The Chairman formally writes to invite the accredited ordained Pastors to the meeting at least 30 days before the date for the General Council.
    • EXICUTIVE COUNCIL

    The Executive Council of The Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod is made up of fifteen (15) members comprising: the Chairman, the General Secretary, the International Missions Director, One (1) Apostle/Prophet/National Head elected from Africa who is not a Ghanaian by descent, One (1) Apostle/Prophet/National Head elected from the Nations outside Africa, and Ten (10) others elected from among the Apostles and Prophets in India.

    Currently the Executive Council Members of The Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod are:

    The Women’s Ministry Director of the Synod, 1. 2. 3. Are both co-opted members of the Council.

    The Executive Council is responsible for the administration of The Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod.

    It is also responsible for implementing policies and decision of the General Council. Also, in cases of emergency, the Executive Council may act for and on behalf of the General Council and report to the same for ratification of its said decision.

    As part of its functions, it is responsible for callings, upgrading’s, appointments, revocations, dismissals, impeachments, transfers and retirement of Ministers and national office holders of The Synod. These functions are discharged in consultation with National and Area Heads where applicable.

    In the event of the Chairman proceeding on leave, course or conference, the Executive Council appoints an Acting Chairman from among its members excluding the General Secretary and the International Missions Director, until his return.

    The Executive Council also recommends policy matters for consideration by the General Council.

    Executive Council Meetings

    • The Executive Council meets as and when The Chairman or in his absence the Acting Chairman presides over all meetings of the Executive Council. Nine (9) members shall form a quorum for all meetings.
    • The Council may co-opt a Regional Coordinator who is not a member of the Executive Council to its meetings.
    • NATIONAL & AREA HEADS

    THE NATIONAL COUNCIL

    The National Council is established in the external nations to act as a liaison between the International Missions Board and the Local Assemblies. The Council meets at least once a year.

    The National Council is the highest policy making body of Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod. in any external nation and responsible for promulgating a National Charter in accordance with the principles of the Constitution of the Synod.

    It comprises of all Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists and ordained Pastors of the Church, Area Executive Committee members, National and Area Women’s Ministry Leaders. Specialists and Retired Ministers of The Church of Pentecost within a particular nation. The National Council membership may differ from nation to nation.

    • THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

    The National Executive Council is responsible for the administration of Trinity Evangelical Worldwide Synod. It also coordinates and ensure the effective implementation of the policies and programmes of the Church in the Region. It is chaired by the.

    • DISTRICT HEADS

    This is a further division of the Area which is headed by a Pastor or an Overseer. The District Pastor/Overseer administers the district with the assistance of a six-member District Executive Committee. The highest decision-making body is the District Presbytery.

    • THE DISTRICT PRESBYTERY

    The District Presbytery, which is the highest policy-making body in the District, decides on all matters affecting the growth, development and welfare of the Local congregations. It also receives and approves reports submitted by the various organs of the Church in the District. It consists of the minister, his wife, Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses in the District.

    • THE WORSHIP CENTRE

    The worship Centre are a local congregation that has the status of a District, widely referred to as “One Assembly District” It is also headed by a Resident Minister or Overseer. The Worship Centres are usually assigned to ministers of the church on secondment.

    • MINISTRIES
    • CHILDRENS MINISTRIES

    The Children’s Ministry, which is the children’s wing of the Church, meets on Sundays before the adult service.

    The Children’s Ministry trains children along biblical precepts of balanced growth. This includes lessons on Salvation, Worship and Obedience. It supports such training with games, quizzes and Sword Drills.

    Additionally, it ministers to primary schools and orphans and organises vacation Bible schools and camp meetings. It also conducts counselling sessions, organises media evangelism, and carries out other specialised children-related functions.

    • YOUTH MINISTRYYOUTH MINISTRY

    The Ministry carries out evangelism, i.e., preaches, witnesses and wins souls; encourages the youth to participate fully in the programmes and activities of the Church and further exposes them to the various ministries within the Church.

    It affords the youth the full opportunity to plan and organise programmes and activities for evangelism in schools, colleges and the tertiary institutions, and encourages them to develop their gifts and qualities of leadership, plan and organise programmes and activities that meet the peculiar needs and aspirations of the youth as well as carrying out other specialized Youth-related ministries.

    • WOMEN’S MINISTRY

    Besides a core function of praying for the Church, the Women’s Ministry, which embraces all the womenfolk, is responsible for giving employable and vocational skills, and training in home management to the women.

    The Women’s Ministry organises retreats, seminars, workshops, lectures and symposia in all spheres of life, including (i) marriage enrichment, wives’   responsibilities at home, child welfare, care and education (ii) business management and techniques.

    It also carries out evangelism, counselling and sponsorship activities to help the needy in the church and in the society.

    • EVANGELICAL MINISTRY

    This is the evangelistic wing of the Church. It meets on Thursdays.

    This Ministry undertakes gospel rallies, crusades, conventions, house-to-house evangelism, and other forms of evangelism, etc.

    These include preaching, witnessing, winning and discipling souls, and encouraging church members to participate in the programmes and activities of the Church and to further expose them to the various ministries within the Church. It affords members of the Church the opportunity to plan and organize programmes and activities for evangelism in villages, towns and cities and other specialised evangelism- related ministries.

    It also carries out counselling sessions and ministers to prisoners and Rastafarians, emerging religious groups, the physically challenged, drug addicts, politicians and in hospitals; organises beach and any other specialised areas of evangelism.
